Valhalla Knights: Eldar Saga

Valhalla Knights: Eldar Saga is an action role-playing game developed by K2 LLC and published by Marvelous Entertainment for Wii. It was released September 29 2009.

Eldar is a land that was once was place were monsters and demon wreaked havoc. A legend was told that the spirit King, who descended from the sky during a meteor shower, took control over the monsters and demons and waged war on all civilization. On the brink of destruction an alliance was formed of four different races. This alliance was able to seal the evil.

Centuries after once again the land of Eldar is becoming a place of destruction and it is feared that this time Eldar will fall. you the player most restore peace to Eldar and reunite the races.
All monsters can be seen on the map and you can chose to fight them or avoid them.

I really can’t wait until I play this game. As you know I really love RPG’s and what I’ve seen of this game it looks really good.

Venetica

Venetica will be released November 27, 2009. so far it has been released to Germany. This game is for XBox 360 and the PC.

Venetica, developed by Deck13 and published by DTP Entertainment, is a fantasy-themed role-playing video game which takes place in the 16th century Venice.

You the player play Scarlet, the daughter of Death( Death is a physical being). She must defeat and save the world and her father from a necromancer, who intends to bring destruction to the world. The Necromancer stole the powers of Death and has become immortal. Scarlet must grow strong and develop her powers to stop the Necromancer and his henchman.

From what I've seen and read about on the official site, it seems to be a good game to play.

Resident Evil: The Darkside Chronilces

Resident Evil: The Darkside Chronicles, developed by capcom, comes to North America November 17. 2009 for the Wii.

Darkside Chronicles began developing before the Resident evil: Degeneration Animation film and will have no connect to the film or Resident Evil 5.

You the player will play the two main charcters which are Leon S. Kennedy and Claire Redfield and the supporting characters are Aba Wong and Sherry Birkin. It's retelling the events that happened in Resident Evil: 2 and Resident Evil Code: Veronica.

Resident Evil: The Darkside Chroniclesis a on-rail shooter. During the game the difficulty will be adjusted depending on the skill level of the player.
As I mentioned in my Introduction, Resident Evil is one my favorite games.I'm very exicited for this game to come out.

Demon’s Soul

Demon’s soul was released October 6 for Play Station 3.

Each player can customize their character’s appearance, name, and gender and choose from 10 different classes. Players battle enormous beasts, using a variety of different weapons and magic.

Demon's Souls is set in the kingdom of Boletaria. One day a thick and colorless fog covered the land’s outskirts, separating the kingdom from the outside world, and trapping the people of Boletaria inside with demons, bringing the kingdom to total darkness. Anyone who entered Boletaria was never seen again. Vallarfax of the royal Twin Fangs escaped from the fog and told the world of Boletaria’s predicament. The Old One, a great beast from below Nexus had awakened from its eternal slumber, unleashed demons, bringing chaos. Each soul that is devoured by the demons makes them stronger and more powerful.


You the player enter the fog, die and get revived and are given a mission to solve Boletaria’s problems and to seal the Old One away.

From what I read and seen this game makes me want to play it. It perked my interest right of the bat. For those of you who love gore and fighting, this game is for you.

Sadness

Sadness is a game coming this fall for the Nintendo Wii by Nibris. Its setting is in Russia, the 20th century. It is a horror gothic game and is based on Slavic legends. I’m really excited for this game because this is the first time ever a game is in black and white.

You, the player, will be playing Maria, a Victorian era aristocrat, who has to protect her 8 year old blind son Alexander from creatures trying to get him after the train derailed. In the game many Slavic mythological creatures make an appearance such as Werewolves and Likho (a creature with one eye)


The purpose of the game is to scare the players/audience by atmosphere, not with violence. The player uses the Wii remote and Nunchuck to control the characters hands, this makes the player feel as though they are in the game, that they’re the character.

Final Fantasy XIII

Final Fantasy XIII will be released March 9, 2010 in North America and December 17, 2009 in Japan.

Instead of their being one main character and the others were supporting characters in the Final Fantasy series. All of the characters will feel like protagonists.

The battle system is similar to the battle system in Final Fantasy XII. All enemies are visible on the map and you can go up to it to engage in battle. Like other Final Fantasy games it is an Active Time Battle system.

From what I’ve seen from the Japanese trailers, the graphic are amazing, the story line is good and there’s a lot of drama. All in all I believe this game will be a hit like other Final Fantasy games before it.

Here’s the plot of the game:

The city Cocoon was created by a fal’Cie for civilization. Cocoon floats high above the surface of the plant Known as Pulse. Each has their own fal’Cie. The fal’Cie of Cocoon created life forms and machinery for the inhabitants, and thus humanity was born. The people of Cocoon feared that there paradise would be destroyed and feared living on Pulse. They saw Pulse as hell.

13 centuries later, anyone who has been influenced by Pulse is exiled from Cocoon by the Sanctum government with the help of the PSICOM army. As Snow and his team try to stop the government, lightning and Sazh fight the soldiers to find Pulse’s fal’Cie. Against their will, Snow, Lightning, Sazh, and two exiles called Hope and Vanille were chosen by Pulse to become L’Cie, whose mission is to bring the down fall of Cocoon.

Yes I know the plot is a little confusing but I think it’s still worth playing.

Fal’Cie: beings created from crystals inside of them.

L’Cie: People who are marked by the fal’cie for greater purposes and they each have their own Focus/gaol they have to complete in a certain time limit. If they don’t complete their mission or if they died before doing so they turn into monsters called Cie Corpse.

Hi, I’m Sandra.

I’m an average girl who loves to talk and hang out with her friends. I love animals, drawing, and singing, but most of all I love video games and hope to develop them in the future.
I first started liking video games was when my parents brought a Nintendo 64 home, when I first played Donkey Kong, the first video game I played in my life and I’ve been in love since. My favorite types of video games are RPGs (Role Playing Games), Action, Action-Adventure, Survival, shooting, and horror. My favorite games are the Final Fantasy series, resident Evil, D.O.A. (Dead Or Alive), and Soul Caliber.

This is my very first blog, so I’m new to this. I’m going to be blogging about video games. I’ll be writing about the releases of some new and upcoming games, and I’ll be giving you information about these games and my opinions on them.
The reason I’m blogging about video games is because I love animation; I enjoy playing games, and I love watching people play them.
